Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
EPA studies show that the air inside our homes is 10 times more polluted than the air outside. Why? Modern homes are built to be as airtight and energy efficient as possible. Stale or polluted air can be trapped inside the home. The list of possible pollutants includes pollen, viruses, dust/dust mites, Radon, CO2, mold & mildew, and even gas-emitting chemicals such as formaldehyde and household cleaning agents. They can circulate through you’re A/C system, leading to allergy outbreaks, sneezing, colds, flues, eye & throat irritations, headaches, etc. They come from many sources. The primary sources release chemicals into the air, such as tobacco, cleaning solutions and building materials. Excessive heat and humidity can also contribute to problems.

Control the sources of pollutants. Find them & eliminate them.
Ventilate your home. Increase the amount of outdoor air coming indoors.
Keep the air circulating through your A/C system as clean as possible.
